Have you heard the good news about Icelandair?

Starting May 19, 2016, Iceland’s premier airline, Icelandair, will offer a seasonal service from Pierre-Elliot-Trudeau International Airport (commonly known as YUL) to Keflavik International Airport (KEF). This will mark the arrival of Icelandair’s first gateway in the province of Quebec and their fifth Canadian gateway.

And guess what? FlightHub, Canada’s largest online travel agency and cheap flights experts, will be one of the only Canadian OTA’s offering great deals on this new service!

They will now offer service to Iceland from Boston, Chicago-ORD, Denver, Edmonton, New York-JFK, Newark, Seattle, Toronto, and Washington, D.C.; and seasonal service from Anchorage, Halifax, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Orlando, Portland, OR, Vancouver, BC and Montreal.

This new Montreal service and Canadian expansion is perfect for you fellow travellers: FlightHub reported a massive 264% increase in flights booked from Canada to Iceland in 2013 and a further 39% growth in 2014.

“The addition of Montreal will give Canadians coast to coast more options in travel from Canada and provide both the business and leisure traveler a refreshing alternative when traveling to Iceland and beyond” said Birkir Holm Gudnason, Icelandair CEO.
